Great things can come out of the worst tragedies. Without the horrors and strife of the Second World War, we might not have the United Nations or the NHS. We certainly wouldn't have Dad's Army.
The Russia sanctions imposed on businesses should be seen as a massive opportunity to clean up the scourge of ad fraud, much of which operates out of Russia.
As I write in today's article, it's not enough for advertisers and their media agencies to announce they are 'pulling out' of Russia unless they get serious about stopping billions flowing to the country through ad fraud, too.
